| Lily on Christmas morning, 8.5 months |
This month has been a fun one - we have celebrated Christmas, Daniel's Birthday, and welcomed the New Year, 2017. Pam, Michael and Stephanie came to visit after Christmas. Then, they left town and my Aunt Mary-Michele and Uncle Kevin arrived a few hours later. We also ended the month on a trip bound for Florida! It's been busy, but a much needed change of pace and break from the day to day grind! And for that reason, it's a month best captured through pictures!

Highlights and Musings:
Lily started crawling with her tummy off the ground
While sitting she will bounce herself up and down with excitement
 |
| It was pajama day at school - Hannah woke up to find an early Christmas present of brand new Christmas pajamas and was so excited! (months later she still refers to them as her pajama day present pajamas) |
Hannah has LOVED all things Christmas
Hannah’s favorite Christmas present? “Pink!!!”
 |
| Loving the new princess dress and cape from Grandma - all PINK |
Lily has really enjoyed her presents and seemed to have a good time playing with the toys Hannah would open for her. And Hannah loved opening double presents.
Hannah started asking “Why?”
Lily has made leaps in her understanding of cause and effect - she can crawl up to the gumball machine she got for Christmas and pull the lever so that the balls come out for her to play with!
Hannah has started pretending to sound out each letter when she looks at words. But she doesn't actually make the sound the letter makes - she just mocks me making initial consonant sounds lol.
